Course Content

This course teaches the basic building blocks and methods of change management. You will learn how to plan change projects conceptually and how to structure, support and manage the implementation process. You will learn about and apply concepts and key competences in corporate change as well as different perspectives on dealing with change (business administration, psychology, sociology, systems theory).

Methodological expertise will help you to organise your approach and your change projects, and you will also learn how to assess the effectiveness of change concepts. Develop communication strategies for change projects and acquire expertise in dealing with resistance and conflicts.

You will learn to analyse context-related success factors in change projects in order to design your change projects on the basis of a scientifically sound understanding.

Admission Requirements & Degree

  • Completed Bachelor's degree
  • Basic knowledge of personnel, organisational development or project management

If you do not meet the admission requirements, we will be happy to assess your individual case.

Recognition of the modules as part of a degree programme must be clarified with the recognising institution on a case-by-case basis.

To obtain the CAS Change Management 4.0, you must attend both masterclasses and pass both examinations.

Further Information

The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Change Management 4.0 consists of the masterclasses Change Management Basics and Managing Agile Transformation and Dynamics. We recommend completing the masterclasses in the correct order.

Both masterclasses can be completed while working. Classes take place in blocks on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
