What is a dual study programme?
The major advantage of a dual study programme is the combination of theory and practice. You study at a university while gaining hands-on experience at a company where you are also employed. This type of degree offers outstanding career prospects – and makes you financially independent!
How Does a Dual Bachelor’s Programme at HSBA Work?
Our Bachelor’s degree programme lasts six semesters. Each semester is divided into a theory phase and a practical phase, alternating regularly. During the academic phases, you’ll acquire essential knowledge which you’ll then apply during your time in the company.
Throughout the entire programme, you are employed by a company that pays you a monthly salary (even during your study periods) and also covers your tuition fees. This means you are financially independent while studying – and you’ll have excellent chances of receiving a job offer after graduation.

Bachelor of Science
Our dual Bachelor Business Administration (BSc) is a business degree programme. In the first year of study, you will learn the essential basics of business administration. From the second year, you have the opportunity to specialise in one or even two areas.
At HSBA we offer a wide range of specialisations such as Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Sustainability and Media Management.
Our dual degree programme Business Informatics (BSc) combines business management issues with digitalisation. The programme covers the basics from both disciplines business administration and computer science. Please note, that you need no previous knowledge before you begin with your studies.
