Dr. Hans Jaich

Dr Hans Jaich completed his doctorate in Sustainability Management & Ethics, focusing on the implications of a growth-limited economy for corporate success factors and strategic options. He was supervised by Professor Sarah Jastram and Professor Knut Blind at TU Berlin as part of HSBA’s cooperative doctoral programme. In parallel, he conducted a real-world laboratory study within his own company, im-jaich, examining spillover effects in the context of socio-ecological transformation. In recognition of the resulting outstanding contributions to sustainable tourism in combination with academic research, the family-owned company received, among other awards, first place at the German Tourism Award in 2023.
