Niklas Bergmann has been an external doctoral candidate at HSBA in the Department of Finance & Accounting since October 2021, where he was supervised by Prof. Dr. Stefan Prigge. In cooperation with Leuphana University Lüneburg, Mr. Bergmann was also supervised by Prof. Dr. Patrick Velte (Institute for Management, Accounting and Finance, IMAF). As part of his doctoral studies, Mr. Bergmann focused on family business research, particularly in the context of financial issues.
