Master's Programmes
Master’s students interested in an exchange at HSBA: Please be aware that HSBA only offers part-time Master’s programmes and that the institution does not follow a typical exchange semester structure. Please contact HSBA’s International Office for more details.
One-Week Modules
An intensive one-week module Digital Innovation Lab runs from 2 to 7 March 2026, and Innovation Lab from 20 to 24 July 2026. Students from our partner institutions are welcome to attend. Learning Agreement
Please note: selecting courses in Mobility Online does not replace your Learning Agreement.
- Erasmus+ students: HSBA accepts Digital Learning Agreements through the EWP network.
- Students from other universities: you can upload your Learning Agreement directly on Mobility Online.
Tip: Make sure your Learning Agreement is completed and signed before the semester starts to ensure smooth credit recognition at your home university.
Health insurance
To be able to register as student at HSBA, you must show evidence of sufficient health insurance.
Students with an EU health insurance card need to get a confirmation that they are exempted from German health insurance. This form you can easily get upon arrival.
If you do not have an EU health insurance, we strongly recommend taking out a statutory German health insurance. The statutory health insurance providers in Germany are obligated to offer an affordable tariff for students up to 30 years of age. Please find more information on our website and here.
During the Mobility
Introduction Incomings
The International Office organises a Welcome Day to warmly welcome incoming students and help them begin their semester at HSBA.
The day includes:
- a campus tour,
- guidance on administrative procedures, and
- opportunities to meet fellow students and staff.
The Welcome Day is designed to ensure a smooth transition and to create a supportive environment in which new students can thrive both academically and socially.
Tip: Attend the Welcome Day to receive all essential information, build connections, and start your semester with confidence.
