About Kangnam University

Kangnam University is a private university in South Korea with a strong international focus, guided by its motto “Moving Forward and Embracing the World.” Founded in 1946 and operating under its current name since 1992, the university enrols approximately 10,000 students. At undergraduate level, Kangnam University comprises seven colleges and also offers a wide range of Master’s and doctoral programmes. Students benefit from on-campus accommodation and a well-developed academic infrastructure. The university is particularly strong in Business Administration, with around 20–25 faculty members in this field, approximately 80% of whom completed their PhDs in the United States.

Kangnam University maintains numerous international partnerships, including with institutions in Germany, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and China. Internationalisation is a core element of the university’s academic culture.

Kangnam University welcomes HSBA students as exchange students. As the number of English-taught courses is currently limited, students are strongly advised to contact the HSBA International Office at an early stage in order to plan their exchange and course selection accordingly.
