Johanna Försterling

Short Profile

Johanna Försterling was academically educated at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Germany, where she completed her Bachelor studies in Communication & Cultural Management and supplemented her analytical and quantitative thinking by the minor study subject Corporate Management & Economics. The part-time MBA programme at HSBA deepened her economic background as well as her practical competencies.

She gained international experiences during her practical term within an internship in Singapore followed by a funded research stay where she strengthened her research capabilities. For her MBA thesis „Introduction of the ATA Carnet Procedure and its Implications for International Trade: The Example of Ghana” she travelled to Ghana for data collection and won in 2018 the Dr. Jürgen Meyer Best Paper Ethics Award.

Johanna Förserling was supervised by Prof. Dr. Sarah Jastram (HSBA) and Prof. Dr. Stefan Müller (HSU).
