Baktas Dost

Baktas Dost is an external doctoral student in the "Department Strategy & Leadership" at the Chair of Family-owned Businesses since October 2021. He conducts research on the topic of "Corporate accounting and corporate management using management information systems in family businesses".

Mr. Dost studied Business Administration at the University of Hamburg and Economic Science at Marmara University Istanbul. During several stays abroad, he gained valuable experience for his working life and started his career in auditing. After working as a Group Controller for various DAX companies, he settled in a traditional and well-known family business in Hamburg. In his current position at Head of Group Finance & Controlling he is responsible for global reporting, planning and budgeting as well as group controlling.

Baktas is married and has a son and a daughter. His passions - apart from his family - include motorcycling, vintage cars, basketball and playing music.
