Change in HSBA's Board of Trustees

Nawina Walker, Preeti Bendele, Britta Siemer, Florian Osterloh and Korinna Steffen were newly elected to the HSBA Board of Trustees today. Stefan Knoll and Gunter Mengers are leaving the board as planned.

Nawina Walker, Head of Site Management & External Affairs at Airbus, Preeti Bendele, Dean of Hapag-Lloyd Academy, Britta Siemer, Partner at EY, Florian Osterloh, Director People & Culture und Member of the Board bei Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH, and Korinna Steffen, Member of the Board of the Assembly of Honourable Merchants in Hamburg (VEEK), were newly elected to the HSBA Board of Trustees with immediate effect. Stefan Knoll, Spokesman of the Management Board North, Deutsche Bank and Gunter Mengers, Chairman of the Board VEEK, are leaving the Board as scheduled. Preeti Bendele was also appointed as a new member of the Board of Governors, the supervisory board of HSBA. The Board of Trustees is the most important advisory body of the university and consists of high-ranking business representatives who are committed to and advise HSBA.

"Sincere thanks also go, of course, to Stefan Knoll and Gunter Mengers for their commitment and the excellent work they have done during their term of office." 

HSBA President a.i. Prof. Dr. Max Johns thanked all the new members of the Board of Trustees on behalf of the entire university management for their willingness to support HSBA with their expertise: "We warmly congratulate Nawina Walker, Preeti Bendele, Britta Siemer, Florian Osterloh and Korinna Steffen on their election to our Board of Trustees. For us as a dual business school in Hamburg, the experience and knowledge of our Board members are essential in order to further progress our university. We are very much looking forward to their suggestions and to working with them."  

In addition to the four new members, HSBA’s Board of Trustees consists of ten further representatives from Hamburg's business community. In addition, the HSBA Alumni Association and the Association of Friends and Sponsors of the HSBA (VFF) each send one representative.
