JOB & MASTER is a free service for applicants who are looking for a matching partner company for their part-time master’s degree at HSBA in order to combine demanding academic and professional development. Renowned companies based in Hamburg are seeking Bachelor’s graduates with a focus on business administration, economics, and related fields, who can be hired as young professionals in the company parallel to their part-time MSc degree.
As a Master’s student at HSBA, you will usually be employed part-time (30 hours per week) and thus gain relevant practical experience in a company.
Long-term employment beyond the course is an explicit goal of the combination of doing a Master’s degree while being employed in a company.
The terms of the employment contract (scope, salary, share of the tuition fees covered) will be agreed between you as a future employee and your potential employer, whereby the partner company usually covers the tuition fees and pays you a salary so that you are able to cover your living costs.
As a JOB & MASTER candidate, your tuition fees are automatically reduced by 10%. In the MSc Business Development programme, the tuition fees are 675 EUR and in the MSc Digital Transformation & Sustainability programme 855 EUR (monthly).
