Lucid Dreaming – The Ultimate VR Headset

Dr Marco Landt-Hayen has been Professor of Business Informatics at HSBA since December 2025. Following a Diplom degree in Physics and a Master of Science in Data Science, he completed his doctorate in Computer Science. He brings extensive experience as a data analyst and in the implementation of AI solutions, particularly in the fields of automatic speech recognition and computer vision.
What if the most powerful VR technology didn’t come from Apple or Meta, but took place in our minds every night? In his inaugural lecture, Professor Landt-Hayen explores how lucid dreaming works, how it can be deliberately induced, and the potential it holds for creativity, problem-solving, and personal development. He concludes by presenting a three-step plan to help you begin your own journey into lucid dreaming.
Following the lecture, we will present this year’s HSBA Research Award and invite you to join us for drinks and finger food in a celebratory atmosphere.
The lecture will be held in German. We look forward to welcoming you.
