Digital Data Waste – The Invisible Sustainability Issue of Our Time

In STUDENTENFUTTER, our students meet inspiring personalities from business, media, culture, and society to discuss topics that matter and provoke thought. The upcoming episode is all about digital data waste.
Every email, every photo in the cloud, every saved data record leaves an ecological footprint – usually unnoticed. While we have long been discussing analogue waste, digital data waste continues to grow in secret, consuming enormous amounts of energy and resources.
In this STUDENTENFUTTER Live Podcast, we bring three perspectives together: science, business, and civil society. Together with Marina Köhn (German Environment Agency), Michael Müller-Wünsch (CIO, Otto), and Holger Holland (Let's Do It World), we will explore where we stand today, what the obstacles are – and which levers really make a difference.
