Daring to lead, taking responsibility

we are delighted to invite you to a joint event organised by the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration and the Versammlung Ehrbarer Kaufleute zu Hamburg (VEEK).
Leadership means more than just responsibility – it requires attitude, courage, clarity and self-reflection. On the other hand, it offers the joy of working with people, great learning opportunities and scope for creativity. But what motivates young people to take on leadership responsibilities, especially in times of growing complexity and personal demands?
Look forward to hearing from our keynote speakers, VEEK member and entrepreneur Michael Pietz, who will share his diverse and personal challenges as an international executive and entrepreneur, and Mie Sørensen, an international Master's student at HSBA, who will talk about what it's like to suddenly find herself leading a team of eighteen employees at the age of 26.
The evening will be interactively moderated by VEEK board member Korinna Steffen and HSBA President Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke. You can look forward to an exciting discussion with numerous networking opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Note for Bachelor students: As this event is part of the general electives, undergraduate students will receive 0.1 credits towards their degree when participating.
