Our sales team in Berlin, Hamburg, and Rheine are committed to building the attractive business case of developing wind farms with Vestas technology through good business relationships, customized offerings, and optimal customer support. As our new Commercial Engineer (f/m/d) you will join a team of 10 experienced and highly dedicated sales professionals in the Hamburg office.

Responsibilities

As a commercial engineer (f/m/d) you have an important part in the financial engineering of our projects. By monitoring cost developments and key financials you develop:

  • Pricing strategies together with our Sales Managers to optimize the business case for the customers as well as for Vestas
  • Throughout your work you collaborate closely with our supporting departments Construction, Transport and Supply Chain to get relevant inputs and ensure the successfulness of your projects
  • You stand close to the customer and the market and will be responsible for maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool with relevant information regarding deals, milestones, developments, and offerings

Qualifications

  • Excited about renewables and wish to contribute actively to making the world a better place
  • Good grasp of financial models and able to both generate and draw insight from key financials, as well as communicate them effectively in Excel
  • Good communication skills and convey information clearly, concisely, and engagingly in PowerPoint
  • Independent and your colleagues can count on you to take ownership of your work and deliverables
  • Service-oriented while engaging, with a can-do attitude and comfortable working in an international environment
  • A degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study
  • Fluent in English and German is a must
