In a digitalised and globalised world, it is more important than ever for graduates of a master's programme to be able complex challenges through innovative and strategic thinking. It is precisely this sustainable business planning that the English-language master's programme Business Development (MSc) prepares students for. The focus is on the application of state-of-the-art tools and processes for the development of new products and services. In addition, students acquire in-depth knowledge of mathematics and statistics as well as negotiation skills and project management.
The German-language Digital Transformation & Sustainability (MSc) programme also deals with the topic of digitisation – and combines this with another future-focused topic: sustainability. Professors and project consultants support a small study group with a maximum of 17 students in project-based learning and prepare them for a career as a change manager, project manager or CEO. The Master's Degree Digital Transformation and Sustainability is oriented towards the global goals of the UN.
The FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) has accredited all of HSBA’s postgraduate programmes. The foundation is an internationally oriented agency for quality assurance in scientific education.
Our JOB & MASTER Service matches postgraduate students with our partner companies, and vice versa. This job placement service is free of charge for both students and companies. Students receive assistance in finding a fitting (part time) position to accompany your studies, if applicable. Companies use this service when looking for motivated students for their (junior) vacancies.
HSBA’s unique Mentoring Programme is open to all postgraduate students who, upon successful application, are matched with experienced managers from the local and regional economy, acting as sparring partners/ role models.
Master students can absolve a semester abroad but it needs to be individually reviewed together with the company.
Generally it is possible to receive credits for the absolved and passed exams and needs to be discussed before going abroad with the international office of HSBA.
You can find more information on the options of studying abroad or a summer school here.
Applications can be handed in at any time. But since HSBA has a limited capacity of students per course and some grants and scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis, we recommend to apply early.
If you want to apply for the Job & Master programme we recommend you to apply even earlier due to the longer procedure of the application.
