Tip for international applicants and prospective students: You can find detailed information here and in our International Student Guide.
After reviewing your documents and if you meet our formal admission requirements, you will be invited to an individual interview with the academic head of the study programme. This can also take place virtually. As part of the individual interview, we check your personal and academic aptitude. You also have the opportunity to get to know the professors. If the interview takes place at HSBA, you will also have the opportunity to get to know employees and possibly future fellow students as well as to get a first impression of our campus. The interview is conducted in English in the MSc Business Development and in both German and English in the MSc Digital Transformation & Sustainability.
After a successful individual interview and a positive vote by the admissions committee, you will be offered a study place and your contract and all other information (e.g. on the JOB & MASTER offer) will be sent to you. After countersigning the contract and providing proof of finance, we look forward to welcoming you to HSBA! Studies start on 1 October of each year.
Yes, the master's degrees of HSBA entitle the students to pursue to doctoral studies. During the application process HSBA makes sure that after finishing their studies, HSBA students have at least 300 ECTS (European Credits) and can proceed to doctoral studies. As a result each course has different admission criteria.
Applications can be handed in at any time. But since HSBA has a limited capacity of students per course and some grants and scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis, we recommend to apply early.
If you want to apply for the Job & Master programme we recommend you to apply even earlier due to the longer procedure of the application.
