The EU-subsidised student exchange programme ERASMUS gives students the opportunity to study and work in 32 different countries. Each year, around 200,000 students use the ERASMUS programme.
The advantages include:
In March 2014 HSBA received the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 and is currently cooperating with several partners across Europe. New partnerships are constantly being established. Please see here our existing Partners:
Applying for a stay abroad at an ERASMUS partner university takes place in two stages: Applying at HSBA and applying to the partner university. As soon as you have received approval from HSBA and confirmed your participation in the ERASMUS programme to us, we will nominate you to the partner university.
The partner university will then send you all of the important information for the application.
Closing date for applications:
31 March for a study abroad semester in the upcoming winter or summer semester at a partner university.
Announcement of approvals/refusals: by no later than 15 April (via e-mail).
Remaining places will be announced approx. in Mai and August.
All ERASMUS partner universities require language proficiency at minimum B2 level in the language of instruction. You do not have to submit an official language certificate such as TOEFL, but should be able to prove your knowledge. Outside of English-speaking countries, pre-existing language skills in the local language are also assessed positively. It is therefore recommended that you acquire basic skills in the language of instruction or the local language before you go abroad. In order to be able to participate actively in events, we recommend language skills at a minimum B2 level of the European Framework. Language skills can be substantiated using the Abitur school-leaving certificate. Language certificates (e.g. TOEFL, Cambridge, DELE etc.) are not a prerequisite for a successful application, but please feel free to submit them.
For your application at HSBA, please submit the following documents:
Notes on the application:

You can get confirmations of your English skills from the International Office, while Examination Office will be happy to issue transcripts of records.
All of the required ERASMUS+ documents are available in the International Affairs section im Teams-Channel International Office.
