In the study course Business Administration (English version) generally the specialisation International Business Administration / Trade is chosen. Should the student want to choose a different specialisation, then in individual cases this is possible. In this case the student needs to fulfil the admission requirements of Business Administration (German version) and good knowledge of German needs to be proven.
This specialisation gives students a more in-depth knowledge of international trade. The areas covered include importing and exporting channels, trade logistics, intercultural communication, compliance, risk management, trade with third countries, legal and tax considerations, export programmes and hedge transactions. In order to prepare for the practical requirements in exportbased (trading) companies, it is recommended that students also take the external exam for wholesale and foreign trade clerks.
