VII. Finance Conference "Corporate Venturing"

Students together with Prof. Dr. Philipp Zaeh, are organising a conference on current topics of the financial sector for the seventh time. The topic this year is Corporate Venturing.

With this year’s VII. HSBA Finance Conference, the students together with Prof. Dr. Philipp Zaeh, Head of the Department Finance & Accounting at HSBA, are organising a conference on current topics of the financial sector for the seventh time.

The topic this year is Corporate Venturing and the different sources of financing of start-up-companies in Germany, Europe and the USA. Especially in Germany, young technology companies are financed by strategic investors (corporate venturing) instead of classical financial investors. Within our conference, we want to find the reasons for this development.
