Together with the Behörde für Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Innovation we would like to invite you to the project presentation of the research project

„Last-Mile-Logistics Hamburg – Innerstädtische Zustelllogistik“
on Friday, 26 January 2018, 02:00 – 04:30 PM

Large cities such as Hamburg are increasingly facing barriers with regards to supplying their inhabitants with products and services. There is especially a need for new, innovative and efficient solutions for logistics of the “last mile”, until a customer receives a good.

During the research project “Last-Mile-Logistics Hamburg”, Prof. Dr. Jan Ninnemann (HSBA) investigates on the model project of the UPS Micro-Hub-Concept. It is the scope of the project to test a new concept for an inner-city interim storage facility where containers are used as temporary warehouse for packages which are then distributed by foot or bike.
