The programmes Business Administration, Business Informatics and Media Management are largely taught in English. In Business Administration (English version), Maritime Management and Logistics Management, lessons are held exclusively in English.
Our undergraduate students gain practical and theoretical knowledge during their studies, as they spend about 20 weeks per year in lectures and the remaining 32 weeks in one of our more than 240 cooperating companies, which include AON, British American Tobacco, Deutsche Bank, Hapag Lloyd, Lufthansa, Montblanc and many more.
In addition to study programmes and executive education, the third pillar of HSBA's university activities is research. Research is hugely important for HSBA, with one of the university's guiding principles devoted to it:
The HSBA foundation was established in 2007 and aims to promote application-oriented research projects. Our lecturers are engaged in various research projects in collaboration with colleagues and institutions from all over the world. Read more about HSBA's research profile and activities.
