Thorsten Rühl

Career

Dr. Thorsten Rühl has been responsible for Investment Strategy & Research at the CSR Beratungsgesellschaft since April 2014. He supervises and develops strategies for institutional mandates as well as CSR publication funds.

The graduate physicist, who holds a doctoral degree from the University of Gießen, previously headed the Asset Allocation and Value Assurance Strategies team of Deka Investment in Frankfurt for many years. There he was responsible for the development of quantitative investment strategies and for the subsequently managed mutual and special funds.

Dr. Rühl studied mathematics and physics at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and at the University of Washington in Seattle and received his doctorate in applied solid state physics in 2001.
