Iryna Gauger has been a lecturer at HSBA since 2016. She teaches Microeconomics for the students of the study courses Business Administration and Business Informatics. Iryna’s research interests lie in the field of international trade and integration, international finance and digital economy.
Iryna Gauger received her undergraduate diploma in International Economic Relations from Odessa Mechnikov National University in 2001 and MS in Economics degree from Texas A&M University in 2003. In 2008, Iryna defended her dissertation under the title “The impact of monetary integration on national economic development” at Ukraine’s Academy of Sciences.
Iryna Gauger taught in the field of International Economics and Finance in Odessa, Ukraine and Warsaw, Poland. Iryna Gauger was Visiting Fellow at the Institute of East European Studies in Regensburg (2011), the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (2012), the University of Sussex in Brighton (2013) and the American University in Washington, DC (2014).
In 2014-2015, Iryna Gauger was involved in post-doctorate studies at the University of Warsaw on the topic of welfare effects of economic integration under the Erasmus Mundus Program.
