Anne Wichels-Schnieber

Career

Dr. Anne Wichels-Schnieber has an extensive professional background in recruiting, HR, organisation and leadership advisory.  

For the past 8 years, Anne worked as senior consultant with Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading global Executive Search firm. With a focus on the global healthcare sector, Academic Institutions and global nonprofit organisations, she advised her clients on a range of organisational and leadership topics and placed senior executives across their organisation. 

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Anne worked with McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice for five years. She was the Head of McKinsey's Hospital Academy, an institution for clinical leadership development and management education. There, she developed and conducted leadership development programs, assessments and personal coaching for top hospital management and senior clinicians as well as for payer and government executives. As an Engagement Manager, she worked with leading hospital chains, academic medical centers, payers and government institutions across Europe on strategic, organizational and operational topics. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Resident Physician in internal medicine at Albertinen-Krankenhaus, Hamburg and at the Clinica Universidad Catolica, Santiago de Chile.

Most recently, Anne co-founded a a start-up in the Digital Health arena with the mission to significantly improve the daily work experience of clinical staff and patients through digital solutions. 

Anne received her medical and doctoral degrees from the Charité Medical School Berlin and attended Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden for part of her medical studies. Anne speaks fluent English, German and has working knowledge of Swedish and Spanish.
