For 15 years, HSBA has been established as a hub of business and science. It has now reassessed this concept of close correlation between research and practical experience for the HSBA Innovation Hub project and thus convinced the international jury of the competition "Innovation Hubs@Campus": The project was not only one of eight finalists. In addition, HSBA was selected as one of 15 members for the Innovation Club and will receive a grant of 15,000 euros.
"With the HSBA Innovation Hub, we have redefined the interaction between companies and the university. 15 successful years of experience in dual education have laid the foundation for this", says HSBA Managing Director Dr. Uve Samuels. "We are very happy about the appreciation provided by this funding programme. A wonderful prelude to the official opening of our new platform in a few days!"
With the "Innovation Hubs@Campus" programme, the Dieter Schwarz Foundation and the Stifterverband promote innovation hubs related to universities and their strategic integration into the university development. The goal is to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in regional innovation ecosystems. The aim of the accompanying "Innovation Club" is to establish a sustainable network of players from institutions of higher education, which exerts its influence beyond the funding programme into the higher education landscape.
The HSBA Innovation Hub will be inaugurated on March 28. Find out more about the new brand and its goals on hsba.de soon.
