HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration has received two awards from the FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation).
As part of a festive ceremony, the MBA programme Shipping was awarded the premium seal of the FIBAA. The premium accreditation of the foundation only ever was awarded to around two percent of all study programmes in Germany. In addition to two other Master´s programmes, Shipping is already the third study course of HSBA, which has been awarded this seal.
In addition, HSBA was awarded the system accreditation and thus the self-accreditation right. In the future, the university will be able to independently design and implement the development of new study programmes and thus ensure the high quality of study and teaching with its own quality management system.
"I am glad that we received the premium seal and the system accreditation of the FIBAA. It is a great honour for our work and underlines the high quality of our study programmes. The system accreditation is an important step for us in order to be able to react even better and faster to the constantly changing requirements in study and teaching in the future", says HSBA Vice President Prof. Dr. Inga Schmidt-Ross.
The high reputation of HSBA and the quality of its study programmes can also be seen in the current number of students: a record number of 379 new students started their studies in 2018.
