Module 1: Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Content & Subject Area

  • Learn the basic concepts and strategic advantages of responsible and sustainable leadership

  • Apply the central terms, theories, strategies and management models of CSR and sustainability

  • Experience practical methods of applying strategic stakeholder management

  • Learn how to develop your own CSR strategy

  • Understand the basic concepts of CSR reporting

  • You will experience a mix of specialist lectures, case studies, best-practice approaches, group work and be able to exchange experiences and ideas with other course participants

Module 2: Sustainable Supply Chain Management

Content & Subject Area

  • Learn about the challenges involved in supply chain management in an international context

  • Analyse and discuss the adherence to social and ecological minimum standards in supply chains

  • Study sustainability gaps in international supply chains

  • Understand the relevant standards and norms of sustainable supply chains

  • Analyse management and governance approaches in connection with sustainable supply chains

  • Learn about the role and importance of multi-stakeholder initiatives

  • You will experience a mix of specialist lectures, case studies, best-practice approaches, group work and be able to exchange experiences and ideas with other course participants

Module 3: Human Rights Governance

  • Receive a detailed introduction to the subject of human rights, their background and application

  • Learn more about relevant standards and norms as well as current regulations

  • Discover more about the risk of human rights violations in a business context as well as practical preventative measures

  • You will experience a mix of specialist lectures, case studies, best-practice approaches, group work and be able to exchange experiences and ideas with other course participants

  • Discuss and reflect on classic ethical dilemmas and which factors can influence ethical problems

  • Discover how an integrated ethical business leadership can support the wider management team

  • You will experience a mix of specialist lectures, case studies, best-practice approaches, group work and be able to exchange experiences and ideas with other course participants
