"Innovation is the key to successful business development," says course director and HSBA Vice President Prof. Dr. Max Johns about the new Master's programme. "Innovation means change: we have therefore adapted our existing study programme to the current needs and challenges of the economy. The result is a Master's degree course for entrepreneurial personalities that deals with some of the most pressing issues in business administration at an international level and prepares our students for the challenges of everyday working life."
How can innovations contribute to business success? What challenges need to be overcome in terms of financing? What advantages and pitfalls need to be considered when using digital technologies such as AI tools? These and other questions are dealt with in detail in the interdisciplinary modules in the 1st and 2nd years of study. The specializations Business Development, Digitalization, Family Business, Finance, Shipping & Logistics and Start-up are offered from the 2nd semester onwards. They each comprise three modules and also provide the content framework for the Master's thesis.
