"Over the past 20 years, HSBA has developed into one of the most renowned dual business schools in Germany. Our employees, students, partner companies and supporters have contributed significantly to this success through their commitment and inspiration," said Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke, President of the Hamburg School of Business Administration, in his address. "With new programmes, academic excellence and international cooperation, we continue to focus on the future in order to make our students fit for the global challenges of tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to this."
After the President's welcoming address and a moving speech by Alexander Birken, CEO of the Otto Group, member of the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors of HSBA, HSBA alumna and moderator Mandy Frick spoke with four companions of HSBA about current changes and challenges for the university in business, teaching and research, but also about special moments, wishes for the future, student life and the HSBA spirit. Represented on the podium were:
- Professor Dr. André Küster Simic, Professor of General Business Administration since the university was founded
- Florian Osterloh, member of the HSBA Board of Trustees and company representative from the very beginning at Montblanc, Managing Director, Director People & Culture, Reemtsma
- Ann-Kathrin Bonz, HSBA alumna and first student spokesperson, Industrial Lead Accenture Song
- Sydney Kloppenburg, Head of Executive Committee at HSBA and International Management student in cooperation with Helm AG
Our chairwoman Mandy Frick is HSBA alumna and former team lead of the HSBA Podcast “Studentenfutter”. She currently works at the Hamburg radio station ahoy.
The celebration was accompanied musically by students of the HSBA band Mathis Braun, on keyboard, and Jan Klatzka, on saxophone.
