HSBA PartnerImpulse: New Networking Event Connects Partner Companies

Successful kick-off event at Allianz Trade Quartier

With its new event format ‘HSBA PartnerImpulse’, the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration has created a practical dialogue forum for HR managers. Around 20 decision-makers from the fields of HR, personnel development and further training at leading Hamburg companies such as Airbus, ECE Group, EY, HELM AG, Jungheinrich AG and Reemtsma came together at the Allianz Trade Quartier at the beginning of May to kick off the series.

Under the heading ‘Lifelong learning as a factor for success’, the focus was on exchanging best practices and innovative continuing education strategies. The aim of the new HSBA format is to strengthen the network between the university's partner companies, provide insights into human resources management practices and give new impetus to future-oriented human resources work.

Silke Grimm, Regional HR Director at Allianz Trade DACH and Chair of the HSBA Board of Trustees, opened the event. Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke, President of the HSBA, gave an overview of current trends and developments in the field of learning and continuing education.

Claudia Lupp, Head of Department People Centre of Expertise & Work Well at Allianz Trade, provided insights into specific practical examples with a presentation on her company's continuing education strategy, as did Alessa Jungnickel, Senior HR-IS & Corporate Training Manager at HELM AG. She presented the HELM Academy as a successful model for structured, accessible learning in a corporate context.

Silke Grimm sums up: ‘The HSBA PartnerImpulse event has shown that lifelong learning is a key success factor for companies. The direct exchange between the university and business practice provides valuable impetus – I would like to thank all participants and my team for a successful premiere. I look forward to continuing this inspiring series of dialogues.’
