Personnel is the most important asset and currently challenges companies in their competitiveness. Only a holistic approach can reach, attract and retain suitable candidates in the long term. Our new course, which we offer together with our partners onlyfy, Perim Digital, Pinktum and scan.up, prepares recruiting managers for the new challenges and provides them with important techniques and tools for optimizing structures and processes.
"As a dual university, the practical design of the course with experienced experts from the business world is particularly important to us," says Prof. Dr. Henrik Meyer-Hoeven, Professor of Human Resources and Organization at HSBA. "In order to optimally address individual needs, we have selected an individual analysis and 18 suitable e-learnings, such as on Big Data, Lateral Leadership or Diversity & Inclusion, which perfectly complement the scope of the course."
In six modules, HR managers learn in a scientifically sound, practical manner and from A to Z how to align the competitiveness of their organization in the labor market with current challenges, how to shape it sustainably and how to manage it in a targeted manner. All relevant fields of action and topics are covered: How to analyze the status quo and derive an effective employer strategy and concept for the entire recruitment process? How do you prioritize and implement concrete measures, which operational issues need to be addressed and how do you tackle them in a targeted manner?

Operational topics: Conducting the job interview; Active listening; Unconscious bias - recognizing and reducing prejudices and stereotypes; Leading according to type; Diversity & inclusion - leading and promoting diversity; Leading with empathy.
Strategic topics: Purpose - With meaning to success; Unleashing bonding power - Turning employees into partners; Customer Centricity - Understanding, inspiring, retaining customers; Making good decisions; Understanding digitalization; Big Data - Understanding the world of data.
Personal topics: Self-motivation; More energy, more performance, more success; Targeted networking; Lateral leadership - leading successfully without a superior function; Giving feedback among colleagues; Conflict management among colleagues.
The course starts in February 2024 and includes six classroom sessions on Fridays or Saturdays. Successful completion includes an HSBA certificate and 12 credit points.
