CHE University Ranking 2023

"We are very pleased with this top ranking, especially in the areas of general study conditions, integration of theoretical and practical phases, and the use of digital teaching elements," explains Prof. Dr. Alkis Otto, Vice President for Teaching & Didactics and President a.i. of the Hamburg School of Business Administration. "The new CHE ranking is a wonderful acknowledgement of our work and shows that our efforts to improve our dual study programs and practical teaching are very successful and appreciated by our students."  

With around 120,000 students surveyed, the CHE University Ranking has been the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world for 25 years now and includes facts about studies, teaching, facilities and research as well as the students' assessment of the study conditions at their universities. 

HSBA performed particularly well in the comprehensive student survey: In the business administration degree programmes (BWL), HSBA is in the top group with 12 out of 12 categories, and in the subject of business informatics, 11 out of 13 categories were rated top. Among other things, the students rate the general study situation, the range of courses, the organisation of studies and the interlinking of theory and practical phases as well as the use of digital teaching elements very highly.
