AI Coaching Now Embedded in the Study Programme

HSBA integrates PINKpro to strengthen students’ development of key future skills

To mark the start of the summer term in April, HSBA is introducing PINKpro, a personalised, AI-powered coach for all students and staff. The aim is to systematically and effectively develop personal skills and future-oriented competencies. The AI coach from the EdTech company PINKTUM offers accessible, personalised support to help tackle challenges in everyday student and work life.

Topics such as self-organisation, resilience, communication and decision-making will be explored in greater depth to provide effective support in everyday study and work life and to prepare students for the world of work. Teaching staff and other staff members will also benefit: they can practise cross-disciplinary skills through personal dialogue with the AI and undertake targeted further training tailored to their level of competence. At the same time, digital training modules and AI-driven initiatives will be integrated into the curriculum.

With the introduction of the AI coach, HSBA and its strategic partner PAWLIK Group are setting a milestone in the integration of academic teaching, practical relevance and digital innovation.

Prof. Dr Tim Goydke, President of HSBA: “With PINKpro, HSBA is underlining its commitment not only to keep pace with technological developments, but also to actively shape them. We are making targeted investments in future-oriented skills and the sustainable development of our university.”

Prof. Dr. Daniela Eisele-Wijnbergen, Head of Teaching and Learning at HSBA and Professor of Human Resource Management:“With PINKpro, we are creating an innovative approach to personal reflection and skills development – tailored precisely to the requirements of a work-study programme.”

Joachim Pawlik, CEO of PINKTUM:“Interdisciplinary skills are becoming increasingly crucial in the world of work. This makes it all the more important to embed their development at an early stage. HSBA is taking a decisive step in this direction and is making targeted use of AI to enhance personal development.”

The launch of PINKpro is supported by a scientific research design: HSBA Professor Dr Henrik Meyer-Hoeven, who has held a senior position at the PAWLIK Group for many years, and HSBA Professor Dr Daniela Eisele-Wijnbergen are investigating the use and effectiveness of AI coaching.

PINKpro is based on curated content from PINKTUM e-learning modules and a comprehensive knowledge database drawing on decades of expertise in the field of human skills.
