A New Record Number of Students: HSBA Records a Full House

With a total of 367 students, the largest class since HSBA was founded almost 20 years ago started this year.

After welcoming our new Master's students to HSBA last week, the first-year day for all Bachelor's students took place yesterday. After the official welcome and introduction on campus, 325 students started their dual studies with a city tour and get-to-know-you games on the Alster.

"We are very pleased about the strong interest in our degree programmes! We owe this great success to the close cooperation with our partner companies and an ever-increasing demand for first-class academic and practical training," comments Professor Tim Goydke, President of HSBA. "As a dual university, we have been offering our graduates first-class career prospects for almost 20 years, and this is now paying off."

Dual and part-time degree programmes make an important contribution to securing the demand for skilled workers in the economy and offer the best career opportunities. The dual model has been particularly popular with first-year students for years and the trend is clearly evident at HSBA: An impressive 24% more students than in the previous year have opted for a dual Bachelor's programme at HSBA in Business Administration (BSc), International Management (BSc), Business Informatics (BSc) and Logistics Management (BSc).
