About Budapest Business University

A semester at BBU means: a beautiful city, low prices, very good English language skills of the lecturers and the excellently organised student "Xchange Group" with great offers for Erasmus students! Budapest Business University is the second oldest business school in the world. It is divided into the three faculties "Commerce, Catering and Tourism", "International Management and Business Studies" and "Finance and Accounting", whereby HSBA students can choose courses from the last two (note: the campuses are about an hour apart). However, it should be noted that the buildings are about half an hour apart. In terms of teaching, unlike seminars, participation in lectures is voluntary and the majority of lecturers speak very good English. Around 120 of the 20,000 students are there each year on the Erasmus programme. The "Xchange Group" is a well-established student organisation that organises excursions, parties and events, but also helps with administrative matters. The trips outside Budapest in particular are ideal for getting to know the other international students, the country and the culture better. And those who want to get active can do so in the fitness room, sports hall, tennis or table tennis. Gyde W. and Bennet B., who were the first HSBA students to spend a semester in Budapest in 2013, can only recommend the BBS: "The university and the city offer ideal conditions for an unforgettable study experience.
