What Does the American Political Situation Mean for German Firms?

We herewith kindly invite you to our International Lounge:

What Does the American Political Situation Mean for German Firms?
Speaker: Mark Heuer | Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University (USA)
Wednesday, 21 June 2017, 06:00 – 08:30 pm
Audimax, HKIC Handelskammer InnovationsCampus,
Adolphsplatz 6, 20457 Hamburg

The U.S. has traditionally had a market based economy with fewer social and environmental protections than Germany. In recent years, U.S. politicians have debated the need for more social and environmental support for its citizens. However, because lobbying involves billions of dollars from corporations and other organizations, very few changes have been made. Instead, the opposing sides are stalemated most of the time.

In the presentation in the Lounge, we will discuss these matters and hope to learn from each other.

Our guest lecturer Mark Heuer is Associate Professor of Management at the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University (USA). He predominantly teaches senior business capstone courses, as well as business and social responsibility.
