Since 2007, Gregor Hopf has held the position of Professor for Media Management at HSBA and is in charge of the Media & IT department at the university.
After an MBA in Corporate Finance at Kelley School of Business (Indiana University) and an MSc in Economic History at London School of Economics (LSE), Professor Hopf completed his doctorate at LSE on the topic of success factors in the economic development of Singapore since the country’s independence. The dissertation was awarded the prize of best student research project 2003 by the Economic History Society.
Professor Hopf has an international management career in the entertainment industry spanning many years, with a special focus on live entertainment. He also has several years of experience in productions on television and the music industry in the USA, the UK and Germany.
