Iryna Gauger is lecturer at HSBA since 2016. She teaches Microeconomics for the students of Business Administration and Business Informatics. Iryna’s research interests lie in the field of international trade and integration, international finance and digital economy. Iryna Gauger received her undergraduate diploma in International Economic Relations from Odessa Mechnikov National University in 2001 and MS in Economics degree from Texas A&M University in 2003. In 2008 Iryna defended dissertation under title “The impact of monetary integration on national economic development” at Ukraine’s Academy of Sciences. Iryna Gauger taught in the field of International Economics and Finance in Odessa, Ukraine and Warsaw, Poland. Iryna Gauger was Visiting Fellow at Institute of East European Studies in Regensburg (2011), Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (2012), University of Sussex in Brighton (2013) and American University in Washington, DC (2014). In 2014-2015 Iryna Gauger has been involved in post-doctorate studies at the University of Warsaw on the topic of welfare effects of economic integration under Erasmus Mundus Program.
Dr. Michael B. Grelck studied business administration at the University of Hamburg. His majors were banking and financial management as well as statistics and econometrics. He worked the following years as a scientific assistant at the University of Hamburg at the Institute for Money and Capital markets. The subject of his PhD dealt with the liquidity of German stocks. Following he joint PwC as a consultant and project manager in risk management for financial institutions. Since 2000 he is working as the managing partner of Dr. Grelck Consulting GmbH. The company consults banks in the implementation of Basel II and Basel III. Furthermore Dr. Grelck was many years responsible for the initiation and implementation of an educational program in financial services for a South African bank. www.drg-ub.com
Dr. Lars Hinrichs works as attorney and specialised lawyer for employment law at KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (KPMG Law). He advises clients on all questions of German Employment & Labour Law. Lars is specialised in the planning and implementation of restructuring and transformation measures, of M&A transactions and in the design and implementation of remuneration systems. Lars has several years of experience in all employment law related questions in sound compensation systems for institutes and further financial services companies and in company pension schemes. Lars regularly publishes labour law and employment law related articles in legal journals. Before joining KPMG Law, Lars has worked since 2007 as lawyer in the employment law branches of the international law firms Clifford Chance and White&Case. Before appointed as attorney, Lars has worked as research assistant (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Institute of Employment Law at Hamburg University.??
Lars holds a first examination and PhD degree of Humboldt University Berlin. Further, he has studied economics at University of Hagen (Diplom-Kaufmann) and Law&Economics at the Universities of Rotterdam, Bologna and Stockholm (LL.M.).
