Companies operate in a changing macro-economic and global economic environment, as well as under specific regulatory and institutional conditions. The global financial crisis and the euro crisis have shown that very clearly. It is therefore essential for students and participants in executive education at HSBA to understand market relationships and processes, the effects of economic policy and the developments in the global economy, to apply them to their respective sectors of business and their companies and to derive therefrom strategic corporate decisions.
